Description
This course provides a general introduction to computer science in the context of the Java programming language. We study basic approaches to structuring computation, and learn algorithmic problem solving skills. This course assumes no prior programming background. This course is the Barnard equivalent of Columbia's COMS W1004. Students cannot receive credit for both this course and COMS W1004.
